Drum roll, please...
We have an opening date for The Fresh Market's Snellville location -- and it's March 9. At 8 a.m., to be exact.
“We are excited to open our new store in Snellville and to expand our reach in Georgia,” Rick Anicetti, Fresh Market's CEO, said in a news release. “We look forward to introducing The Fresh Market’s concept of quality, great tasting food, excellent customer service and a distinctive atmosphere to an expanded customer base, and we look forward to offering neighboring communities an inspiring new food shopping experience.”
The store, Georgia's 15th, will be located at the intersection of Scenic Highway and Janmar Road. Grand opening activities include "chef demonstrations, food sampling throughout the store" and gift card drawings. The first 1,000 customers will also get "a sample-sized bag of the company's gourmet coffee and a reusable shopping bag."
For those unfamiliar, the Fresh Market bills itself as a grocery store "dedicated to providing the freshest and best local ingredients."
According to the aforementioned news release, the Snellville store "will house over 24,000 square feet of culinary delights, including a bakery that produces 30 freshly baked breads and 14 different pie varieties daily, a full service meat counter with freshly ground beef, a wide selection of ready-to-serve entrées, fresh seafood delivered to the store several times per week, and more than 200 imported and domestic cheeses, as well as a bountiful produce department with more than 400 items and a large organic selection.
