Clayton County Schools open Aug. 5

There will be some new leaders for schools in Clayton County when school begins on Aug. 5. Here is a list of new principals:

Tangela Benjamin, Harper Elementary School

Rodney Jordan, Jonesboro Middle School

Dennis Stevens, Kemp Primary

Marques Strickland, Lee Street Elementary School

Kimberly Grant, Pointe South Middle School

Prince Bowie, Riverdale Middle School

Monica Goree, Suder Elementary School

Moises Payamps, (interim principal) Unidos Dual Language School
