He wants a farm. She wants “a reliable car with an air conditioner.”

Both could get what they want after winning in the Georgia lottery this week.

Wayne Sheets, 57, of Thomasville, won $3 million playing the instant game $3,000,000 Taxes Paid. He purchased the ticket at Flash Foods on East Pinetree Boulevard in Thomasville.

The gardener already has plans for the money.

“I’ll grow organic vegetables and raise free range turkeys and chickens for my personal use,” he said in Wednesday’s news release. “I have easy dreams.”

A nurse in Augusta has dreams of her own.

“I work a lot of hours,” Patricia Holloman said. “Or, I should say, I worked a lot of hours.”

Holloman, 50, won $2 million Tuesday playing Millionaire Jingle Jumbo Bucks. She bought her winning ticket at P J Food Store on Skinner Mill Road in Augusta.

“I thought I was reading (the ticket) wrong,” she said. “I kept looking at it. That’s a lot of zeroes.”

In addition to cutting back on her hours at work, Holloman said she wants to get a dependable car.
