Johns Creek has announced that its one-of-a-kind cricket pitch has been completed on Field 2 at Shakerag Park.

"The synthetic turf cricket pitch is 1,200 square feet, and it's the only one of its kind in the Southeast offered by a recreation and parks department," the city said in a Facebook posting.

The pitch at Shakerag Park, 10945 Rogers Circle, is next to three cricket batting cages unveiled last June by the Johns Creek Recreation & Parks Division. The pitch is not yet available for use, however, as all park athletic fields are closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Information: https://bit.ly/3bdOYAK
