The Atlanta City Council's Finance/Executive committee has scheduled a public hearing Monday evening to discuss and hear from residents about whether the hours liquor is sold should be extended from 2:30 a.m. to 4 a.m.

The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. in Committee Room 2, City Hall, 55 Trinity Ave. S.W.

Councilman Kwanza Hall introduced a resolution earlier this week requesting the city study the economic benefits of extending those hours.
