Roswell police posted a report of a sinful car break-in on their Facebook Page Monday.

The irreverent act happened Sunday at East Roswell Park, police said. The thief smashed in the passenger side window of a minivan, but the usual items — computers, tablets, phones, money — weren’t taken.

What was taken? A Bible.

“Nothing inside of your car is sacred…not even a Bible!” Roswell police said on Facebook.

They offered a friendly reminder “to please remember to remove any items of value from your car so that you don’t give thieves any incentives to break in your vehicle. Always report suspicious activity by calling 9-1-1.”
