Atlanta police are searching for a 12-year-old girl who hasn’t been seen by her family for five days.

Akirah Faulkner, who lives on Gaston Street in the West End, was last seen June 3, police said. She “recently returned to the residence to gather personal belongings before departing from the residence once again,” Atlanta police spokesman Officer Ralph Woolfolk said, but did not make contact with her mother.

Akirah is known to frequent the Four Seasons apartment complex as well as “the area surrounding the West End,” Woolfolk said.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact APD’s special victims unit at 404-546-4260.
