The marching band from one Gwinnett County high school will ring in 2017 in style.

English style.

Brookwood High's Bronco Marching Band will participate in London's New Year's Day Parade and Festival, which bills itself as "the world's greatest street spectacular." The band's 200 or so members will be among the more than 10,000 participants from the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States.

Half a million people are expected to take in the parade in person, with millions more watching on television.

The New Year's Day festivities begin at noon London time — meaning Georgians will have to get up at 7 a.m. to watch the event, which is streamed live online here.

The performance will be the first international one for Brookwood, which has earned nine local and regional grand championships throughout the years.

You can follow the band's London exploits on its Facebook page.
