Months after a Feb. 15 home invasion in Henry County, a man was arrested on charges related to the incident, and a woman initially believed to be a victim was arrested the following day, authorities said.

Micheal Edwards, 21, of Stockbridge, was taken into custody Friday on charges that included home invasion, armed robbery, kidnapping and aggravated assault, among others, Henry County police announced. The following day, 32-year-old Violetpaulette George of McDonough was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit a felony and several other charges nearly identical to those filed against Edwards, police said.

The incident took place at a home on Shasta Lane, according to police. A masked man, later identified by police as Edwards, broke into the house armed with a handgun and robbed its residents. Among those residents was George, who was listed as a victim.

More than two months later, investigators were able to identify Edwards as a suspect and take him into custody, police said. No further information has been released about the circumstances that led to the charges against Edwards, and police did not say how George was identified as a suspect rather than a victim.

Henry police officials have not responded to requests for further information about the case.

Both Edwards and George were booked into the Henry County Jail, where they remain without bond.
