Parent Wendy Frank said she contacted the Anti-Defamation League’s Southeast office after hearing about the swastikas.
“I'm horrified. I'm so sad and I'm furious,” she told the news station. “I want them to know this hurts many, many, many people. Not just Jewish people, not just kids at Centennial High School, it hurts our whole community.”
The ADL’s director said they are trying to set up a meeting with the school to talk about education initiatives.
District spokeswoman Susan Hale also said North Springs High School found a small message reading “KKK rules” in a back hallway. Teachers discovered the message was written weeks ago, and the student is “receiving appropriate discipline.”
