Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who put a woman in the hospital with serious head injuries.

“I’m extremely angry that someone could hit a human being and just leave,” her mother, Jami Dogood, told Channel 2.

The crash sent Green flying about 50 feet and caused trauma to half of her body when she was about two weeks pregnant, Channel 2 reported. Doctors said she would have to learn to walk again after suffering a fractured pelvic bone and two broken legs.

No arrests have been made in the incident.
