Sarah Furay, notorious for her cheerful mug shot after being arrested on drug charges, is the daughter of Agent Bill Furay, a Drug Enforcement Administration official once in charge of the DEA's office in Galveston, Texas, according to a 2010 report. He is currently stationed in Panama, according to a recent report.
Furay, 19, was arrested in College Station, Texas, for allegedly possessing cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy, meth and a drug "similar to LSD." Her big-grinned mug shot went viral, with some calling it "the happiest mugshot in America."
The mugshot led some publications to sarcastically dub her an "adorable drug kingpin."
Furay spent a day in jail and was released after posting $39,000 bond.
