An ammunition can containing 55 12-gauge shotgun shells, maps and a note were found inside the car of the man accused of shooting six FedEx co-workers and then killing himself, according to a search warrant obtained today by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Those items, along with photographed copies of Geddy Lee Kramer’s driver’s license and FedEx employee ID, were found in the front seat of the burgundy Honda he drove to the Cobb County facility early Tuesday, the search warrant states.

Shortly before 6 a.m. Tuesday, Kramer drove the Honda up to a security guard’s post at the facility and shot the guard at point-blank range, according to witnesses and police. Kramer then shot five other people before shooting himself. Kramer, 19, of Acworth, was dead when officers arrived.

Details about the maps and the note were not described in the search warrant. But on Wednesday, police said Kramer left a note behind.

Investigators also searched Kramer’s home, but details of those findings have not been released.

“We do know the shotgun was owned by the suspect,” Officer Mike Bowman with Cobb police said Wednesday.

Neither Kramer’s family nor police have speculated on what led the young man to open fire at the FedEx facility. Police have said they are continuing to investigate the clues left behind.
