A man was found fatally stabbed in the courtyard outside a Midtown landmark Wednesday morning.
The man, believed to be homeless, was lying in a green space when Atlanta police arrived at One Atlantic Center just before 8 a.m. The gold-tipped skyscraper, also known as the IBM Tower, is located on the corner of West Peachtree and 14th streets. It is one of Atlanta’s tallest buildings and is often seen in television shows and films.
Police just took down their yellow tape that was blocking off an area on the 1200 blk of W. Peachtree but they’re still trying to figure out who stabbed a homeless man here & why. The man died at some point last night/early this morning. Noon live report pic.twitter.com/qDB9LFfwYq
