Winner: Best date night spot in Roswell | Best of Roswell

Roswell residents have narrowed down where to take a first date in this week's Best of Roswell poll.

First dates can be a make-it or break-it moment in a burgeoning romance, so it’s best to think carefully when choosing where to take your potential sweetheart.

Luckily for Roswell residents, the people of the north Fulton city have narrowed it down in the results of this week’s Best of Roswell poll.

Hundreds of residents chimed in to choose the top spot of the nine options. But before revealing the winner, here’s what came in ninth through fourth place.

Kayaking or canoeing down the Chattahoochee River with Shoot the Hooch, and catching a film or mini golfing at family fun center Area 51 tied for ninth place with 5% of the votes.

Seventh place went to Foundation Social Eatery. The gastropub took 6% of the votes.

Another eatery, Mexican restaurant Pure Taqueria, placed sixth with 9% of the votes. Fifth place went to Gate City Brewing, which garnered 11% of votes.

In fourth place came a visit to Roswell Mill Ruins in Old Mill Park. This outing got 13% of the votes from residents.

Now for the top three.

With 15% of the votes, 1920 Tavern came in third place. Globally inspired cuisine is a feature of this speakeasy-style restaurant and pub on Canton Street.

Second place went to From the Earth Brewing Co. Farm to table meals are a staple of this Holcomb Bridge Road restaurant and brewpub. It garnered 18% of votes.

So, which Roswell spot was deemed the best one for a first date?

The winner was Vin 25, which received 19% of the votes. The wine bar features a substantial list of vinos, which dates can usually sip on the patio.
