There has been no shortage of virtual parties on social media as Atlantans and people across the nation continue to self isolate. This weekend, an iconic Atlanta nightclub will bring the party into residents' homes.

Johnny's Hideaway has temporarily closed, but the party will be jumping when DJ Spencer Pearson spins on the turntables during a Facebook live dance party Saturday night.

Beginning at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 11, patrons can groove until midnight at the virtual club.

“Grab your favorite homemade cocktail and quarantine buddy for a night of dancing around your living room while listening to your favorite songs from Johnny's!” read an email about the event.

While the night spot temporarily closed last month because of the coronavirus pandemic, it hasn’t only been focused on keeping the party going for patrons.

After 20 employees were left without work on March 20, the establishment launched a GoFundMe page in an effort to provide some relief.

"This GoFundMe page was set up by Johnny's Hideaway to support the bartenders, bar backs and servers who make good times possible. 100% of any funds raised through this page will go directly to the team members. Any amount you can give will help," read a Facebook post.
