A quote from Rep. John Lewis is now prominently displayed outside Atlanta’s High Museum of Art.

A banner with the quote is on the front of the building facing Peachtree, where the museum’s exhibits are usually promoted.

“ ... when we saw the need for people to speak up, to organize, to mobilize, and to do something about justice, we came together.”

Doug Shipman, the president and Chief Executive Officer of the Woodruff Arts Center, posted a picture of the words on Twitter.

The museum, which has been closed to the public since mid-March, announced its plans to reopen in July.

Front-line workers will also be allowed entry on that day, according to the statement. On July 18 the public will be allowed into the museum.

Members and front-line workers will be admitted with no charge from July 7-17.

Like other institutions reopening their doors, the High will do with some new safety measures in place.
