Inspired by the hit show, “Dancing with the Stars,” Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta recently transformed their hospital halls—from the cardiac stepdown unit to the rehab gym — into one big dance party.

Like any good DWTS contestant, these doctors’ dance partners are fierce. One is awaiting a heart transplant, another is fighting cancer for the third time. For a few moments one day last week, each pushed their ‘doctor’ and ‘patient’ titles aside and they got their groove on.
