A couple in England who celebrated their 90th anniversary on Friday shared a simple piece of advice for maintaining a happy marriage.
Karam Chand, 110, and Katari Chand, 103, are believed to be Britain's longest-married couple. They were wed in 1925 and moved to England 40 years later, according to the BBC. The couple have eight children, 27 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
When asked the couple’s secret to staying together, Katari Chand said that they have never argued. Their son Paul confirmed that he’d never seen his parents be angry with one another, and that they understood the importance of compromise, leading to a happy marriage.
