SocialGeorgia, an initiative that connects donors with nonprofits, will start the season of giving early by leading a #12DaysofKindness challenge from Nov. 1 – 12.
Rather than conforming to the traditional methods of fundraising, SocialGeorgia created the #12DaysofKindness challenge to not only spark the spirit of giving statewide but also build anticipation for their inaugural fundraiser on Nov 12 in honor of Georgia Gives Day.
The fundraiser will take place at 200 Peachtree to raise $250,000 for local non-profits as well as include live entertainment, giveaways, musical performances, informational seminars, social media contests, after party festivities and much more.
Here's a look at the schedule:
Kindness: Create a Note of Appreciation by writing someone a thank you note or message

Tuesday, Nov. 3
Kindness: Purchase coffee and donuts for police officers, firefighters and EMT’s to show them you care
Location: Grady Hospital (80 Jesse Hill Jr Drive SE) at noon
Wednesday, Nov. 4
Kindness: Accidentally “Lose” a Dollar to allow someone to have the good fortune of finding it
Location: CNN Center, (Centennial Park Side), 190 Marietta St at noon
Thursday, Nov. 5
Kindness: Write a short note and share it on social media to start a chain of kindness
Location: State Court of Fulton County (185 Central Ave SW) at noon
Friday, Nov. 6
Kindness: Be kind to yourself by creating an affirmation statement and say it to yourself all day.

Saturday, Nov. 7
Kindness: Encourage a Stranger by saying hellos, giving compliments, and opening doors

Kindness: Pick-Up Trash: Pick an area of town or in your neighborhood to clean up
Location: West End Beltline (Near 982 Rose Circle SW, Atlanta, GA) at noon
Monday, Nov. 9
Kindness: Purchase Supplies for Teachers
Location: Hope Hill Elementary (112 Boulevard NE) at noon
Tuesday, Nov. 10
Kindness: Say I love you to your loved ones
Location: Panera Bread 1080 Peachtree St NE at noon.
Wednesday, Nov. 11
Kindness: Honor our veterans by posting a picture of the American flag on social media.

Thursday, Nov. 12
Kindness: Be involved: Donate and/or Volunteer at SocialGeorgia
Location: 200 Peachtree St NW from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
