Lemonade Stand Competition
It’s always a good time for a refreshing glass of lemonade, especially if life hasn’t been handing you lemons lately. Generation Z is combining the classic beverage with its mission to teach kids about entrepreneurship with a lemonade stand competition. Approximately 50 youngsters from the metro area will set up stands and serve lemonade to compete to see who has the best beverage. Profits from the event fund tutoring efforts for kids. Think you might have the best lemonade in town? Check out Generation Z’s website for details on how to enter.

Let your kids tucker themselves out this Saturday by running, jumping and blasting the night away, while you and your significant other enjoy some quiet time on your own. Roswell ASAP (After School Achievement Program) invites parents to have a romantic dinner or take in a grown-up movie while the children enjoy a night of supervised fun. The evening comes with a pizza dinner and access to the video game lab, but the highlight of the night is sure to be the all-out Nerf war, staged on a 6,000-square-foot activity mat. Nerf weapons will be provided, but if your child already has one, bring it along. Just leave the ammo at home as there will be plenty on site.
5:30-10:30 p.m. March 11. $25. Roswell ASAP, 11516 Woodstock Road, Roswell. 770-649-8383, roswellasap.com.
