The votes are in, and the public has determined that Caprice, the Chinese mountain pitviper, is the most spectacular resident of Zoo Atlanta's newest exhibit.

Scaly Slimy Spectacular is home to nearly 100 snakes, turtles, lizards, frogs, salamanders and more in stunning settings.

Ten of the exhibit's residents competed for the public's votes, and Caprice narrowly beat Winston, the white spotted glass frog.

Blanche, the box turtle, came in third place.

Scaly Slimy Spectacular is open rain or shine, so you can visit all the reptiles and amphibians and see their beauty firsthand.
