As of Wednesday, a statue of Bill Cosby will no longer be a part of Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park, a spokeswoman told the Orlando Sentinel on Tuesday night.
Disney did not comment beyond saying the statue was scheduled to be removed after the park closed Tuesday night.
The bronze bust was part of Disney's Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame Plaza in the center of the theme park and includes such TV stars as Lucille Ball and Oprah Winfrey.
A petition calling for the removal of the Cosby bust has been online for months, the Sentinel story said.
Cosby admitted in 2005 that he got quaaludes with the intent of giving them to young women he wanted to have sex with, and that he gave the sedative to at least one woman and "other people," according to documents obtained Monday by The Associated Press.
