The Dead Daisies are performing with Kiss in Australia.

Fortus was in a crash on Sept. 17 in which he broke his shoulder blade, collarbone and six ribs, among other injuries.

He's expected to make a full recovery.

Fortus went to Facebook to tell fans what happened.

Dave Leslie of Baby Animals Music will take Fortus' place during the Australian and New Zealand legs of the tour.

He hopes to rejoin the band for The Kiss Kruise.
