Watson shut down the rumor on Twitter.

"WORLD," she tweeted. "Remember that little talk we had about not believing everything written in the media?!"

Us Weekly refuted the report, as well.

"[It's] fake," an unnamed friend of Prince Harry told the magazine. "It's such a random story."

The Huffington Post also tweeted that the pair aren't dating but called the rumors "the best piece of fanfic we've read today."
