The charismatic scientist Neil deGrasse Tyson took to Twitter to give a thumbs up or down to various predictions for Oct. 21, 2015 in the movie "Back to the Future II."
Tyson noted the Cubs do have a chance to win the World Series, as the movie predicted, despite the actual odds against it.
He noted that hoverboards are indeed under development, but there are still no flying cars.
The film was made in 1989. It predicted that life on Oct. 21, 2015, would include dogwalking by drones, multiple at-home Fax machines, and pocket digital cameras.
