The day after President Donald Trump visited Atlanta to address the NRA's national convention, former President Bill Clinton came to town.

Suffice it to say they had very different itineraries.

Clinton delivered the keynote address at Emory University School of Law's Centennial Gala.  Georgia's former U.S. Sen. Sam Nunn (an Emory alum) received the school's Centennial Lifetime Achievement Award.

"For the last 100 years, Emory Law has educated and inspired some of the century's greatest legal minds and leaders like Sen. Sam Nunn,"  Robert Schapiro, dean and Asa Griggs Candler Professor of Law, said in a statement. " We celebrate a rich history, as well as the beginning of a new century of Emory leaders who, like President Clinton and Sen. Nunn, will confront global challenges head on and, in the process, advance our shared society."
