Actress Alyssa Milano was among the many celebrities who backed Congressional aspirant Jon Ossoff in his bid for Georgia's 6th District and then lamented his loss to Karen Handel.

"GROUP HUG," she tweeted amid her grief.

But not everyone's invited into the huddle. Sen. Ted Cruz is specifically banned.

Milano was in Atlanta filming a new television series called "Insatiable" when she got involved in Ossoff's campaign. (The plot, per imdb: "A disgraced, dissatisfied civil lawyer-turned-beauty pageant coach takes on a vengeful, bullied teenager as his client and has no idea what he's about to unleash upon the world.")

The project, whose executive producers include metro Atlanta native Ryan Seacrest, also stars actor Christopher Gorham. He and Milano stumped hard for Ossoff, even driving voters to the polls.

Milano did follow up with a tweet indicating she'd be willing to grant Cruz an audience if he wants to talk policy.

"Any time you want to get together to talk about your duty to your constituents, I'd love to chat," she tweeted. "People before party."

But hands off, Senator.
