NYC mayor wants to plan a block party with Kanye West

When crummy weather scotched a Kanye West performance in New York, the performer immediately told his people to call the mayor's people to whip up a future outdoor concert instead.

That didn't happen, but it's apparently not out of the question, a tweet from Mayor Bill de Blasio suggests.

In the above clip posted by "Team Kanye," you can hear West directing someone to get on the horn with Gracie Mansion. While that didn't pan out, the mayor cleverly responded with a tweet using the same megaphone icon and asks if someone has Kanye's contact info.
