"Mama June" says registered sex offender fathered two of her kids

"Mama June" Shannon, matriarch of the now-scrapped "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" revealed during an interview with "Entertainment Tonight" that "Michael Anthony Ford .. a convicted sex offender who served time for sexual exploitation of minors after being caught on 'To Catch a Predator' in 2005," is the father of two of her kids.

TLC axed the redneck reality show amid allegations that Shannon was dating convicted child molester Mark McDaniel. She says she was not dating him, but only arranged a meeting so she could assure everyone he had not fathered any of her children.

"I have nothing to hide, I have nothing to lose. I just want, honestly, to tell my side of the story and let’s move on," Shannon told 'Entertainment Tonight,' which been airing emotional interviews with members of the McIntyre clan since the allegations came to light.

Ford is the biological father of two of Shannon's kids, Jessica and "Pumpkin," Shannon told "Entertainment Tonight." She also said she gets why people would have a problem with her spending time with McDaniel.

"Honestly it's not like I'm seeing him everyday," she said.

By the way it seems like TLC is about the only network not airing the Boo Boo family these days. Mama June and Alana will be on Dr. Phil's show on Monday.

Here's a trailer promoting the appearance:

Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson, pictured above, is Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson's biological dad but served as a father figure to all the girls until he and June split up. Sugar Bear's brother Lee "Uncle Poodle" Thompson engaged in a war of words with his brother's former partner on his public Facebook page.

“Why not just be honest for a change?” he posted. “You may try to bash me or dig up old dirt but honestly none of it compares to how you have treated my brother and allowed a convicted child molester who molested your oldest daughter to be around your 14 and 9-year-olds.

“Then you tell me if I step foot on your property you’d call the police on me for trespassing after I told my brother EVERYTHING with photographic evidence …It’s not anyone else but you who (bleeped) up, then lied and had your 14-year-old lie as well. And now you can’t get out of that hole you dug, so don’t blame me for YOUR problems.”

Poodle later deleted the tirade and said he was moving on, and hinted that his future could include other possible TV opportunities.

The other day, he was back to commenting about June.

"Let's see how far she tries to throw me under the bus for HER mistake," he posted. "I predict she will try to focus the story on something other than what it's all truly about."
