Lots of tickets still available for the national championship game

Fans wanting to cheer on Georgia or Alabama alongside more than 70,000 of their closest friends still have plenty of options. Online brokers are still showing a good bit of inventory.

Tickets aren't a steal by any stretch but haven't climbed back to the eye-popping levels they started at shortly after Georgia's historic Rose Bowl victory.

NEW: Plenty of rooms, but Atlanta hotels are holding out for top dollar

At the moment Vivid Seats has seats starting at $1,393. Earlier this week the lowest price was more than $1,900. Stubhub's lowest priced offering is $1,428.

The biggest bargain, relatively speaking, appears to be in the suite seats. A private, 30-person suite on the 40-yard line was listed for $196,473 - $6,549 per spot - earlier this week. At the moment there's a 22-person suite going for $87,113 - $3,959 each.

And if you don't mind a ticket in a shared suite, that sort of real estate can be had for $37,50 at SuiteHop .
