Earlier this year Kanye went on one of his epic Twitter tears, staking out a number of positions. He said he wanted a $1 billion investment from Facebook chief Mark Zuckerberg, that "white media" publications like Rolling Stone and the New York Times should cease commenting on "black music," and that he was $53 million in debt and suggested it would great if some "fashion group" could bail him out. If everyone could stream his new album on Tidal, that would also be great. And textbooks should cost less.

"I am of service to the world with my art and I just want to serve more," he tweeted at the time. "Shut the (bleep) up and enjoy the greatness."

"Nope," he replied.
