Lord Valdemort, the darkest of dark wizards, killed Harry Potter's parents and spent untold hours strategizing to off the bespectacled boy genius as well - but he's not as nefarious as presidential hopeful Donald Trump, says author J.K. Rowling.

After calling for a "total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States" in the wake of the San Bernardino, Calif. shooting spree by two radicalized attackers, Trump came in for withering (sort of rhymes with Slytherin) criticism from the author of the "Harry Potter" series that begat the popular movie franchise, theme park and who knows how many Halloween costumes.
