Activist filmmaker Michael Moore says GOP contender Donald Trump never wanted to be president, only jumped into politics to boost his value as a TV host and is now sabotaging his own campaign. "Trump isn't as dumb or crazy as he looks," Moore wrote in an open letter posted to his social media accounts.

Moore strongly suggests that he and Trump have legal contacts, business associates and stylists (stylists?) in common and that his essay is informed partly by conversations he overheard in the hallways of NBC.
Running for president was meant to boost his business leverage, Moore asserts.
Instead of being a fluke candidate, though, Trump bested his rivals during the primary season and would up the GOP nominee. Moore says Trump never wanted to get this far, doesn't actually want to be president since he'd have to live in the dumpy ole White House ("The job of being President is WORK and BORING and you have to live in the GHETTO of Washington, DC, in a SMALL 200-yr. old house that's damp and dreary and has only TWO floors! A second floor is not a penthouse!"
So, Moore believes, Trump is now purposely sinking his own ship.
"L et me throw out another theory, one that assumes that Trump isn't as dumb or crazy as he looks. Maybe the meltdown of the past three weeks was no accident," Moore wrote. "Maybe it's all part of his new strategy to get the hell out of a race he never intended to see through to its end anyway."
