Drugs found at Bobbi Kristina's home?

Roswell Police Department investigators didn't find drugs "out in the open" at the home of Bobbi Kristina Brown, a spokeswoman said in the hours following the medical emergency call on Saturday.

New reports citing unnamed sources claim that upon further inspection, investigators searching more thoroughly did find drugs. Roswell authorities haven't responded to a query about the TMZ report saying that a family member says that's what was found.

Brown, 21, was discovered face-down in a bathtub at the home on Saturday. She was rushed to the hospital and has been in a medically induced coma with family gathering around her in the days since.

A statement released by the Houston family on Monday said the daughter of singer Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston is "fighting for her life."

According to the incident report, one of the people in the home when authorities responded to the medical emergency was Maxwell Byron Lomas, 24, of Duluth. He faces drug charges from an arrest last month; his lawyer declined an interview request from Channel 2.

In June 2011, Lomas was one of five people arrested by the Dawson County Sheriff's Department and "charged with consumption of alcohol on a wildlife management area, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of a firearm in the commission of a crime," the Dawson News reported at the time.

Last July, Bobbi Kristina lashed out on her busy Twitter feed after someone posted a photo purporting to be her smoking marijuana.

"I've never posted any photo of me doing anything!" she said at the time. "This is someone trying to tarnish and make a horrible name for MYSELF. People are insane."

Bobbi Kristina's husband Nick Gordon has referenced drug use on his Twitter feed.

"I will (be) back on this (expletive) causing more mayhem tomorrow," he posted last March. "Smoke your weed and be happy."
