People were pretty fired up about barbecue.
According to the recent poll "What's the best place to get barbecue in Atlanta?" the winning answer was Sweet Auburn BBQ with 3,435 votes. A noteable second place went to Fox Bros. BBQ (2,891 votes) followed by a very distant third place pick of Smoke Ring BBQ (453 votes). The rest rounded out as follows: 169 votes for write-in candidates; Bone Lick BBQ (165 votes) and Twin Smokers (119 votes).
The restaurants named in the add-my-own comment section included Community Q, Heirloom, Daddy Z's, The Original Shane's Rib Shack, Sprayberry's BBQ and several others.
