Chattahoochee Hills farm Many Fold Farm, which was the only sheep creamery farm in Georgia when it opened in 2009, announced on its website that it will cease operations in 2017.

"The creamery at Many Fold Farm will be shutting its doors as of January 1, 2017 for the foreseeable future. We aren't selling the business, nor the brand, nor the stock. We will continue farming operations and practicing good land stewardship. We are taking a moment to decide how we can better serve the food and farming community," the statement said in part.

The statement cited "problems of scale and consumer access and education" as challenges, and that the farm's team "might provide insight and resources towards developing new agrarian economies going forward."

Husband and wife Rebecca and Ross Williams, who own and operate Many Fold, told Atlanta Magazine that they plan to keep the livestock and continue the farm's egg production on a smaller scale.

The farm sells products at several Atlanta farmers markets including Freedom Farmers Market and Grant Park Farmers Market.
