BEER PICK

All Together IPA

Halfway Crooks Beer, Atlanta

Available in 4-packs of 16-ounce cans at Halfway Crooks TO-GO foyer

Profile

All Together is a 6.5% alcohol India Pale Ale brewed by Atlanta’s Halfway Crooks as part of a world wide collaboration hosted by Brooklyn’s Other Half Brewing to support hospitality professionals.

With a malt bill that includes 2-row, flaked oats, and Carapils, it pours a hazy pale yellow with a bubbly white head. Columbus, Cascade, and Mosaic hops, and dry hopped additions of Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic, and Cascade hops impart flavors and aromas of mango, grapefruit, pine and peach, around a soft but slightly prickly mouthfeel.

Pair with

To me, the aromatics and sweet and spicy notes of Thai or Vietnamese cuisine are perfect with hazy-fruity IPAs like All Together. But if you’re picking up food to go with your beer at Halfway Crooks, the lemon pepper wings or steamed cheeseburger with mustard and pickles would be good ideas, too.
