The Apple Watch will begin showing up on the wrists of early-bird shoppers this Friday, but for the rest of us who may have some interest in the new device, getting one won’t be easy; the things are sold out and probably out of stock for a few months.
Nevertheless, if you're still considering a purchase, I have an old-school Pro-and-Con list for you! It appeared in Tuesday's print edition of the American-Statesman and online at MyStatesman.com. Here's an excerpt from the piece:
- If you already feel bombarded by emails and texts all day, this is one more screen of constant notifications for you to keep track of. (They can be disabled, at least.)
- If you have social anxiety, you probably won't want to wear this conspicuously in public. You will likely attract strangers asking about your cool Apple Watch.
