Get grocery staples
Pudding, beans, soup, vegetables: Kroger has Snack Pack pudding or gelatin (four- count cups) on sale for $1 each, or 88 cents each when you buy eight. Buy eight and use four of the $1-off-two coupons from the Jan. 11 SmartSource to pay 63 cents each. Rosarita Refried Beans (16 ounce) are on sale for $1 each. Use the 55-cents-off-two coupon from the Jan. 18 SmartSource to pay 73 cents each. Progresso Light or Heart Healthy soups (19-ounce cans) are on sale for $1.25 each. Use the 50-cents-off-two coupon from the Jan. 4 SmartSource to pay $1 per can. Del Monte canned vegetables (11- to 15.25-ounce cans) are on sale for 60 cents each. Use the 25-cent coupon from the Jan. 11 SmartSource to pay 35 cents per can if selected varieties shown on the coupon are included in the sale.
Chicken, pork, salmon and more: Kroger has whole chickens, chicken drumsticks or thighs on sale for 99 cents per pound, fresh asparagus for $1.99 per pound, and gallons of Kroger milk for $2.50 each, limit four. Boneless pork tenderloin is $3.99 per pound and Atlantic salmon is $6.99 per pound.
Apples, soda, soup: Wal-Mart has 5-pound bags of Fuji apples for $4.97, or $1 per pound. Pepsi product 12-pack cans are $3 each (regularly priced at $4.28). Campbell's Chunky Soup (16- to 18-ounce cans) are $1.50. Use the 50-cents-off-four coupon from the Jan. 11 SmartSource to pay $1.38.
Publix Promotion
Promotion: Check the Publix circular rack in stores for the purple flyer titled “Over $46 in Coupon Savings” to find a coupon that gives you $10 off your grocery order of $50 or more when you buy a $50 Visa gift card. Save money on groceries while buying a nice Valentine’s Day gift.
Protein Bars
Balance, Pure Protein bars: Walgreens has single Balance bars and Pure Protein bars on sale for $1 each. You will get 1,000 Balance Rewards points worth $1.25 when you buy 10 bars. Use five of the $1-off-two coupons for either Balance bars or Pure Protein bars from the Jan. 4 RedPlum to pay 50 cents each at the register. After you receive your points, your net cost will be 28 cents per bar, a savings of 78 percent off the regular price of $1.29.
