My friend has a little dating dilemma and wants advice. His girlfriend of one year lost her job recently. There is an opening at his company that would be perfect for her. He is apprehensive about letting her know because they already spend a lot of time together. Should he tell her to apply or keep the job opportunity to himself?

Personally I wouldn’t want to work where my mate works. It seems like that would bring added stress to the work – home dynamic. Couples need time and space apart, even new couples should try to remember this. If you are having problems in the relationship, would working together make it worse?

Would you ever work with someone you dated? What about going into business with your mate? If you mix business and pleasure, is there a way to make it work?
