I have been watching the news reports on the shooter in California, Elliot Rodgers. I was apprehensive about blogging about it because he ranted about hating women. Misogyny is serious and when it is called the cause of a mass shooting spree, I don’t take it lightly.

I noticed that he had a sense of entitlement to a certain type of woman. He expected sex and admiration from them and was angered when that didn’t happen. I don’t think I’ve seen that level of hatred toward women and I hope I never do. I have, however, seen men who feel they deserve certain things from women. This is especially true if they spend a lot of money.

Do you believe that people think they deserve sex after they have invested time or money?

Have you followed the story of the shooting in California? What did you think about the way he responded to rejection from women?
