Changes in two alcohol licenses were approved Monday by a 4-1 vote of the Powder Springs City Council.

Councilwoman Nancy Hudson opposed both applications since they involved serving alcohol.

Due to a name change, Shahid Khan was granted the alcohol license for S&A Food Mart, 3930 Austell Powder Springs Road, Powder Springs.

Bradley and Douglas Keen/Scoki Inc., doing business as Johnny’s Pizza at 1050 Richard D. Sailors Parkway, received a change to their alcohol license to pour wine and malt beverages and for Sunday sales since they said one of the owners left the business.
