A high school football team in Oklahoma is not just breaking records with their win Friday night; they are making memories as the town rallied around a little boy with cancer.
Seven-year-old Colt Rowland may look like a healthy little boy, but he is battling leukemia.
The family said they have relied on their faith and their community to get them through this challenging time.
Locust Grove football players honor a seven-year-old with cancer:
At their game against Claremore-Sequoyah Friday night, players dressed in special journeys with a Batman symbol on them. Batman is Colt’s favorite superhero.
Roberts Auto Group donated the special jerseys the players, including Colt, during the game. On the back of the jerseys, players put the name of a loved one battling cancer.
During the game, Colt was able to lead the team onto the field and deliver the game ball.
