Soccer is my thing.

It has been since I started playing when I was 5 years old. It has been since my parents took me to see the Chiefs. It has been since I started watching a static-covered Soccer Made in Germany on PBS.

The fields I grew up playing on are surrounded by houses. I live in one and can hear the Sunday pick-up games from my living room while watching soccer in England on my TV, in Italy on my phone, in Mexico on my tablet and Germany on laptop at the same time.

Soccer and I have come a long way.
