Simone Biles wins gold at 2018 US Gymnastics Championships

Olympian Simone Biles won a gold medal Sunday at the 2018 United States Gymnastics Championships— becoming the first woman to win five U.S. Gymnastics all-around titles.

Biles, 21, also become the oldest woman to win an all-around compeititon since Linda Metheny Mulvihill and Joan Moore Gnat in 1971.

During the competition, Biles said she wore teal in support of victims of sexual abuse in U.S. Gymnastics.

Biles was one of several former gymnasts to speak out against USA Gymnastics regarding the abuse of former team doctor Larry Nassar.
