Court adjourned for Wednesday's deflategate settlement conference at federal court in New York and both sides exited the courthouse around 5:30 p.m (ET).
Each side will now meet separately with judge behind closed doors, Fox25 reported.
During Wednesday's proceeding, Judge Berman asked NFL lawyer Daniel Nash about this wording used in the Wells Report: "more probably than not that [Brady] was generally aware."
During the questioning, Nash used the word "conspiracy," which Judge Berman asked him about.
"There's a high bar. Have to show conspirators intended something unlawful to occur," Berman said.
After that, it was the Players Association's turn to respond to questions from Berman.
"We asked Ted Wells, did you find anything beyond general awareness? The answer was no," NFLPA lawyer Jeffrey Kessler said.
