Dr. Berglund said these “doctor’s orders” are an ideal reason to lie on the couch and take in some NCAA tournament action.

“We tell men to take at least two days of sitting on the couch which is great for the March Madness and they need to keep their groin iced during that time, 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off is tolerated,” said Dr. Berglund.

According to Dr. Berglund, he also notices an uptick in vasectomies during the Masters Tournament and when a major video game is released.
