Here’s what Tom Brady had to say:

Brady on injuries: "Football is no fun when you are hurting. The injuries that I dealt with over the seasons, that's not fun because I was hurting. I went to practice, and it hurt. For me, understanding what I need to do to feel good has been so important for me to continue my career."

Brady on his longevity: "The window for an athlete is that we are only as good as our bodies can be. To spend a lot of time preparing your body and your mind mentally, those are very important things for me to continue to play the sport that I love."

Brady on retiring: "Why does everyone want me to retire so bad? I don't get it. I'm having fun. The team's doing good. I know I'm a little bit older than most of the other guys, but I'm really enjoying it. I obviously enjoy the experience of playing in this game. This has been obviously a dream come true many times over.

“... I’m not thinking about retirement. I’m thinking about the Super Bowl and trying to win the most important game of the year. It’s going to take a lot to do it.”

Here’s what Nick Foles had to say:

Foles on his religion: "That's everything to me. I'm blessed to be in this position. In this game, (God has) given me gifts and ability to be here."

Foles on going to Michigan State after Arizona State fired Dirk Koetter: "That was just a crazy journey. I had committed to Arizona State and I went to Michigan State. I went there for a year, and that was another trial. Being a Texas boy and going through just being that far away from home, I had to make a decision. I transferred. That was a big decision in my life. I'm an Arizona Wildcat through and through. I had a great career with my teammates. I met my wife there. That was part of the journey. I'm grateful to have grown through that."

Foles on Alex Smith, who he backed up in Kansas City, being traded to Washington: "Washington is very fortunate to have a quarterback in Alex Smith. My year with him was one of my favorite years in football. It was being there in Kansas City and being able to work with him. Seeing a guy that for some reason people critique him all the time. The guy's a winner. ... This league is crazy. You never know what's going to happen."
