The Owls’ first home football game will be on Sept. 12, 2015 against Edward Waters College. Kennesaw State released two more home games on Thursday in its inaugural schedule.

The Owls will also host Point on Oct. 10 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. Times haven’t been decided.

Edward Waters is a private historically black college located in Jacksonville, Fla. It plays on the NAIA level.

Point is located in West Point and is also an NAIA-level school. The Skyhawks went 3-7 last year.

The Owls hope to schedule one more road game.

Coaching staff complete: The Owls also completed the coaching staff with the announcement of four assistants that have joined coach Brian Bohannon.

Mike Daniels, formerly at Buffalo, will coach the wide receivers. Stewart Cook, formerly at West Georgia, will coach the tackles and tight ends. Cody Worley, formerly at The Citadel, will coach quarterbacks. Kevin Downing, formerly at Elon, will coach defensive ends. Chris Bland, formerly at Brevard College, will coach cornerbacks.

“For me, it’s as much about a personality fit as it sometimes about your resume,” Bohannon said. “I spent a lot of time with our whole staff, sitting and talking who you are and what you are about. We have a quality staff.”
